LADY SINGS THE BLUES is a story about women in song. It is about their hurts, struggles and pain, and the transformation of that pain into music. Featuring the songs of the greats like Billie Holiday, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, along with the modern day voices of Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Beyonce and more. Set in a New York-style Speak Easy, you will be transported from a jazz bar in the 1920s to the very heart of the star of our show, Prinnie  Stevens, and her experience in the world as a Woman of Colour.
